INSPIRATION

My color scheme is navy blue, various shades of pink, white and silver

FLOWERS

Most of my favorite flowers, like peonies, tulips, ranunculus will be out of season in Oct. so if my florist can get her hands on some I plan to use them at least for my bouquet.

UPDATE: my florist informed me that she could get peonies in for my wedding, but: A. they will be overpriced and B. it will be a gamble since they might not come in the best condition. So i gave up the idea and decided to go w/ garden rose, cabbage roses(look very similar to peonies), ranuculus, tulips, carnation, and a lot of anemone.

CENTERPIECES

Haven't decided on centerpieces yet...I do know I want at least 2different types, some high some low. I want all white flowers and lots of candles.
Here are some that have caught my eye.

CHURCH DECOR

I've decided on a simple cluster of flowers tied with thick, navy ribbon for the pews

I'm thinking pink up lighting for our reception:

We want to do a "heritage" table maybe at the door
or by the cake.

We will incorporate Hispanic wedding customs like laso, arras, and such into our ceremony.

A lazo (lasso), is a large rosary, a ribbon or a decorated cord that is symbolically draped around the neckss or shoulders of the bride and the groom.

The arras are 13 coins that the groom presents to his bride symbilizing that he will from that
point on care and provide for her
